Clay Paintings
Painting with clay is something that I discovered accidentally while gardening. I noticed all the different earth tones in my backyard and started putting them on canvas.
Earth Colors
I absolutely fell in love with the color tones that my backyard provided. I started this series in the beginning of the Covid Quarantine and I was craving calming colors.
The Frame Is The Star
The clay painting series began with the idea to modify the frame. I often felt that framing was an afterthought. So, I turned it around and gave the frame all the spotlight it deserved….playing with different cutout ideas.
All frames are custom made in house.
